The Empire State Building illuminated the night sky with blue and pink hues, mirroring the prestigious event’s colors.
From there, the Trophy made its way through the iconic landscapes of New York City, gracing landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, and The Edge, captivating the hearts of cricket enthusiasts at every turn. The excitement reached new heights as fans flocked to glimpse the coveted Trophy during activations at a New York Islanders NHL game and Penn Station, seizing the opportunity for memorable snapshots.
Continuing its journey, the Trophy ventured to Long Island and Nassau County, where it received a warm welcome from a procession of Emergency Service vehicles at the soon-to-be Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, the stage for nine exhilarating T20 World Cup matches in June. The next chapter unfolded in Houston, Texas, where Team USA embraced the Trophy amidst the futuristic backdrop of the Space Station. Moving onward to Dallas’ Grand Prairie Stadium, anticipation soared as the stage was set for the opening clash between the USA and Canada in the upcoming tournament.
Adding to the spectacle, the Texas Rangers, champions of the 2023 World Series, proudly showcased the Trophy at their home turf in Arlington, captivating fans with its gleaming presence.
